Rugby Victoria is seeking expressions of interest from passionate and suitably qualified coaches to be part of the Victorian Women’s and Girls representative programs in 2026.
Following the continued growth and success of the women’s game across the state, these programs present an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of Victoria’s top female talent and play a role in a high-performance environment.
The 2026 Rugby Vic Women’s team program will build off the momentum of the Lindroth Cup club competition, providing a clear and competitive pathway for athletes into representative rugby. Selected players will progress into a Victorian squad that will compete in interstate competitions throughout September and October.
In addition, Rugby Victoria will also be delivering Under 16 and Under 18 Girls programs, with coaching roles available across both age groups. These teams form a critical part of the state pathway, supporting the long-term development of emerging athletes and aligning with the broader performance framework.
We are looking for coaches who:
- Are passionate about developing female athletes and contributing to the growth of the women’s game
- Have relevant coaching qualifications and experience
- Can work collaboratively within a program aligned to Rugby Victoria’s pathway and performance objectives
- Bring strong communication, planning, and leadership skills
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a program that is continuing to evolve and strengthen, with a clear focus on athlete development, performance, and alignment across the Victorian rugby pathway.
Coaches interested in being considered are encouraged to express their interest by contacting: Braydon Peterson E: braydon.peterson@vic.rugby
Please include a brief overview of your coaching experience and any relevant qualifications.
