The Brighton Renault Dewar Shield moves into Round 11 as Melbourne University host Box Hill at Smith Oval.

We caught up with both sides before their Round 11 clash to hear their thoughts on their sides preparations and what they believe the opposition will bring game day.

Melbourne University - Craig Dickson

How do you feel your side preformed against Melbourne in Round 10?

The team played well but some really simple mistakes can cost you dearly against a team like Unicorns. The intensity was right up there and the team showed some very good aspects of our style of play.

What learnings did you take out of your Round 4 match against Box Hill?

You cannot afford to go to sleep against Box Hill. They are playing some exciting football and can punish teams anywhere on the field.

What do you think Box Hill will bring to the match-up this time round?

I expect we will see the the type of game that Box Hill usually plays -- fast, offloading rugby which can be really hard to defend at times.

Which players do you expect to fire for Box Hill this weekend?

For Box Hill, Joe Timani will probably be the key for them getting go forward ball. Then anyone in their back line can be dangerous with a good platform up front to work from.

Box Hill - Tim Belcher

How do you feel your side preformed against Footscray in Round 10?

We didn't perform to the best of our abilities but we did enough to get the 5 points. The Doggies had come off some heavy losses but really stuck it to us, which was pleasing as we needed a good hit out after losing to a very clinical Rams outfit the week before.

What learnings did you take out of your last meeting with Melbourne University in Round 4?

University have a very good set piece and they certainly took their chances in R4. Like most weeks we control and dictate our performance and not our opponents. Tomorrow will be no different we need to concentrate on what we do well and take University strengths away from them, and that simply comes down to being accurate and executing the plans.

What do you think Melbourne University will bring to the match-up this time round?

A good set piece and probably some desperation. They are fighting hard with Powerhouse for 4th spot so I would expect a very fired up and focused Uni side. But as I have repeatedly said from day one, we respect all the teams in this competition but we do need to focus on the controllable and not the uncontrollable.

Which players do you expect to fire for Melbourne University this weekend?

Look I expect a very fired up Uni side and one that will want to take it to us, they will fire across the park it's our job to extinguish that fire early.
