Women and Girls Rugby Week
Saturday 28 February - Sunday 8 March

The 2026 theme of Women & Girls in Rugby Week is all about celebrating the diversity of roles, experiences and pathways for women and girls in rugby. From players and coaches to match officials and volunteers, every contribution shapes the future of the game and strengthens the rugby community.

Our Key Objectives

Drive Registrations Inspire more women and girls to get involved in the 2026 rugby season — whether as players, coaches, match officials, or volunteers.

Celebrate Participation and Leadership Highlight and share inspirational stories that showcase the strength, leadership, and achievements of women and girls across all levels of rugby.

Build Visibility and Profile Increase recognition and awareness of female participation in rugby — from the Wallaroos and Super W to coaches, referees, and community leaders.

Engage Locally Collaborate with Member Unions and clubs to deliver local activities and events that celebrate and promote women and girls in rugby.
