What is Rugby?

Rugby Union (Rugby) is a global game for all ages, genders, sizes and backgrounds. There are many varying formats for all Australians to enjoy - find out more about these formats here!

Competitions

Rugby Victoria manages Rugby XV's and Rugby 7s competitions ranging from Under 6s to Senior Open Age Rugby as well as a +35 Masters competition.

Get into Rugby

Get into Rugby is an introductory, skills-based program, perfect for girls and boys starting their rugby journey. Get into Rugby is recommended for kids aged 5-8 and suitable for kids up to 12 years of age

Touch 7s

Touch 7s introduces communities to the fun and excitement of Rugby with a non-contact format that is safe, social and inclusive.
