Rugby Victoria thanks its Volunteers
Last week, Rugby Victoria celebrated the contribution of volunteers across the Rugby community, presenting Service Awards to volunteers from Rugby Victoria clubs who have dedicated 10 years or more of service* to their respective clubs.
Throughout the week, awards were presented at club training nights and on game days, with more than 50 volunteers recognised for their outstanding contribution to their local clubs and the wider Rugby Victoria community.
A special mention goes to Moorabbin Rugby Club, which had eight volunteers recognised for more than 10 years of service*. Collectively, these volunteers have contributed more than 300 years to their club as players, coaches and dedicated volunteers.
The ongoing commitment shown by volunteers highlights the important role Rugby clubs play within local communities. For many, clubs become lifelong communities — places where people feel welcomed, connected and supported throughout every stage of life.
At the conclusion of National Volunteer Week, Rugby Victoria would like to thank all volunteers across the Rugby Victoria community for the invaluable role they play in supporting Rugby and creating a strong sense of community for everyone involved.
