Rugby Victoria would like to congratulate Barry Te Hiko as the Rugby Victoria Volunteer of the Month recipient for the month of May.
Barry was nominated for the contribution he has made to Endeavour Hills RUFC.
Barry has been a long-term volunteer of the club, supporting in a variety of roles including on game day and training. Barry has demonstrated a passion for developing kids into great rugby players but also great people. Barry spends most days of the week at the Rugby Club and as a father of 6 demonstrates a huge commitment to supporting Endeavour Hills RUFC, it’s community and subsequently the Rugby Victoria community.
When told about the nomination and award Barry said “Thank you so much to Rugby Victoria, this (volunteering) is a passion of mine, looking to develop young players not only in rugby at grassroots level but building good habits in players lives”.
As recognition of winning the Volunteer of the Month Award, Barry will receive two tickets to the First Nations & Pasifika XV v British & Irish Lions game on July 22nd at Marvel Stadium.
