Rugby Victoria Update Regarding Premier 'Hot Zones' Announcement

The Victorian Government has announced new restrictions for Melbourne’s hot zones.

From 11:59pm on 1 July, the following postcodes will move to Stage 3 restrictions:

  • 3012 - Brooklyn, Kingsville, Maidstone, Tottenham, West Footscray
  • 3021 - Albanvale, Kealba, Kings Park, St Albans
  • 3032 - Ascot Vale, Highpoint City, Maribyrnong, Travancore
  • 3038 - Keilor Downs, Keilor Lodge, Taylors Lakes, Watergardens
  • 3042 - Airport West, Keilor Park, Niddrie
  • 3046 - Glenroy, Hadfield, Oak Park
  • 3047 - Broadmeadows, Dallas, Jacana
  • 3055 - Brunswick south, Brunswick west, Moonee vale, Moreland west
  • 3060 - Fawkner 3064 - Craigieburn, Donnybrook, Mickelham, Roxburgh Park, Kalkallo

If you live in these locations, there will again only be four reasons to be out:

1. Shopping for food and supplies

2. care and caregiving

3. exercise

4. study or work if you can’t do it from home.

Sport and Recreation Victoria has advised that further information for sporting clubs and recreational facilities will be published shortly. Rugby Victoria will review this information and update our community accordingly.
