The U18 School 7s Rugby Gala Day was once again held at Power House Senior Rugby Club this week with 7 teams from 5 schools participating across both boy’s and girl’s competitions.
Fountain Gate Secondary College brought two U18 Girls teams on the day and played a series of Rugby 7s and Touch 7s games. The girls enjoyed battling it out against each other, with lots of giggles and hard hits happening, despite the freezing cold conditions.
The U18s Boys Grand Final saw Fountain Gate Secondary College take on Hampton Park Secondary College. Hampton Park always had a tough game ahead of them, with Fountain Gate being undefeated throughout the day. The final game saw Hampton Park keep Fountain Gate to a lower score of 12-31, however it wasn’t enough to stop them, with Fountain Gate taking out the win in the end.

A big thank you must also go to Power House Senior Rugby Club, and in particular Bryan and Jeremy, who set-up, packed down and ran a BBQ for the day.
