by Rugby Vic Media

Rugby Victoria are pleased to announce that BLK have strengthened their partnership with the Union for the next two years. The partnership will unveil BLK as the new naming rights partner of the 2019 and 2020 Rugby Victoria Premiership Division.

The Premiership Division hosts some of Victoria’s most emerging Clubs in Brimbank Bucks, Northern Panthers, Eltham, Kiwi Hawthorn, Geelong Rams and Southern Districts.

“We are eagerly looking forward to working with BLK more closely by facilitating activities to collaboratively promote our great game” said Chris Evans, Rugby Victoria General Manager.

The partnership extension will mean the iconic sports apparel brand will remain on the front of all Victorian representative team guernsey’s while also continuing to play an integral role within the Community Rugby fixture, including weekly Dewar Shield Team list announcements.

Passionate about our future rugby stars, BLK have also committed to supporting our Victorian Schools initiatives and our grass roots community development programmes.

“This renewed agreement reinforces our shared values and the benefits that we have been able to drive for both organisations since first formalising our strategic partnership in 2017. The recommitment shows that we have faith we have in each other’s future direction.”

“BLK is a highly respected brand, popular in all rugby playing nations, and is looking to continue its rise in prominence throughout the world.

“They’re a global leader in high-performing, innovative sports apparel and we are delighted to have BLK board”.

Chris Evans thanked BLK for its ongoing contribution and commitment to our game.

Round 2 matches of the BLK Premiership Competition will kick-off at 3.10pm on Saturday May 4 highlighted by the Grand final re-match between Eltham and Kiwi Hawthorn.
