International Cloud Computing Giant Nutanix joined the Rugby Victoria family today, partnering with the organisation for the next two years.
Nutanix is a global leader in cloud software and hyperconverged infrastructure solutions, making infrastructure invisible so that IT can focus on the applications and services that power their business. Our customers all over the world enjoy one-click application management and mobility across public, private and distributed edge clouds, so they can run any application at any scale with a dramatically lower total cost of ownership. The result is organisations that can rapidly deliver a high-performance IT environment on demand, giving application owners a true cloud-like experience.
Nutanix will be the naming rights partner of the Rugby Victoria Live Stream, the Old Boys Carnival, the APS 7s Schools Competition and Rugby Victoria Awards Night.
Nutanix’s Southern Region Sales Director, Andrew Draper, said, “The game of rugby has a long-standing history and strong legacy in Victoria, and we’re proud to join forces with Rugby Victoria to continue to promote the code right across the state”.
He continued: “Rugby in Victoria is currently witnessing unprecedented growth, recording a 10% increase in total participation year over year. And with the Youth Girls Rugby program set to continue it’s meteoric rise in 2020, there’s never been a more exciting time to be associated with the game of rugby, and Rugby Victoria.”
